THEORETICAL FOUNDATION OF EVENT MANAGEMENT 2.1. Event management is an application of project management to the creation, development, and execution of events. Project Management is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to complete specific project goals and objectives successfully. Management is the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling of the project. The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while adhering to classic project constraints: scope, quality, time, and budget. The secondary and more ambitious challenge is to optimize the allocation and integration of inputs necessary to meet pre-defined objectives.
